AC Milan was upset 2-1 at Glasgow Celtic in the European Champions League on Wednesday night.
Stephan McManus gave Celtic the lead in the 62nd minute, but Kaka converted a penalty kick in the 68th. Scott McDonald scored the winner in the 90th minute.
Shakhtar Donetsk won 1-0 at Benfica in the other Group D game. Shakhtar now leads the group with six points, three ahead of Celtic and Milan.
At Liverpool, Mathieu Valbuena scored in the 77th minute for Olympique Marseille’s 1-0 win at Anfield.
Liverpool is third in Group A behind Marseille and Porto, which won 1-0 at Besiktas.
Chelsea, in its first European match since Avram Grant replaced Jose Mourinho as manager, rallied for a 2-1 win at Valencia. Schalke won 2-0 at Rosenborg in other game.
Chelsea leads Group B with four points, one ahead of Valencia and Schalke.
In Group C, Lazio held nine-time champion Real Madrid to a 2-2 tie.
Ruud van Nistelrooy scored in the eighth and 61st minutes for Real Madrid to give him 56 goals in 75 European matches. Gordan Pandev tied it in the 32nd and 75th minutes for Lazio.
Olympiakos rallied for a 3-1 win at Werder Bremen.
