Sevilla Complete Champions League Group Stage

Sevilla paid a fitting tribute to former full-back Antonio Puerta by storming into the Champions League group phase with a 4-1 win over AEK Athens here on Monday night.

Two first-half goals from Luis Fabiano, Seydou Keita and Alexander Kerzhakov also scored to give the 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup winners a 6-1 aggregate victory.

Sevilla will now face Arsenal, Steaua Bucharest and Slavia Prague ini Group H.

Defending champion AC Milan was given a relatively easy draw for the group stage of the Champions League on Thursday, while Manchester United and Chelsea will revisit quarterfinal rivals.

Milan claimed its seventh European title in May with a 2-1 win over Liverpool. The Italian team is in Group D with Benfica, Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Manchester United will face AS Roma in Group F, along with Sporting and Dynamo Kiev. Manchester United beat AS Roma 7-1 in the second leg of last season’s quarterfinals.

Chelsea and Valencia played in another quarterfinal last season, and Chelsea won with a 90th-minute goal from Michael Essien in the second leg. Joining them in Group B are Schalke and Rosenborg.
