Thierry Henry passed a medical at Barcelona on Monday. He will be given the 14 shirt, the squad number he had at Arsenal and the same as that worn by Nou Camp great Johan Cruyff.
The Dutch master made the Barca 14 shirt famous, even though he rarely wore it because in the Seventies shirts were numbered one to 11.
But Cruyff wore 14 for Ajax, Holland and for Barca only when he was a sub. The shirt has since been snubbed by other players not wanting to be compared with the legend.
Barca flops Gerard Lopez, Santiago Ezquerro and Cuyff’s son Jordi have all failed in the 14.
Hope it wont happened to Henry.

Henry will fail. He will have a lot of pressure to play with Ronaldinho. Thanks henry for leaving arsenal! Arsenal rawks now!
